Two men arrested for dealing drugs near schools

Tirana police has arrested two people this Wednesday, who were distributing narcotics near schools in Kamëz: Xh. K., 23 years old and A. Th., 28 years old, both residents of the area.

During the physical check, citizens Xh. K. was found with 15 doses of suspected narcotic substance cannabis sativa, which were seized as material evidence.

From the performed verifications, it was found that the citizen A. Th. had broken the “House Arrest” security measure, set by the Court of First Instance of Gjirokastër, for the criminal offense of “Aiding illegal border crossing”.

Meanwhile, the materials were passed to the Prosecutor’s Office for further action.

“Services of the Police Station No. 5, following the work for the prevention, identification and attack of criminal activity in the field of narcotics, based on the information provided through information intelligence, for a case of distribution of doses of narcotics, have organized and finalized the coded police operation “Stop”.

As part of this operation, citizens Xh. K., 23 years old and A. Th., 28 years old, both residents of Kamez.

From the investigative actions, it was found that these citizens were distributing doses of the narcotic substance cannabis, near the schools, in Kamza”, proclaimed the police.
