Two people have been put in handcuffs by the Durres police this Thuesday, after being accused of practicing prostitution. According to the Durres police, a 38-year-old man and a young woman who were used for prostitution have been arrested.
During the “Flower” operation, the citizen Tajar Vrenozi was arrested, his arrest took place on June 17, 2023, as a result of a four-month investigation, for the crackdown on a case of the criminal activity of exploitation for prostitution.
Also, a 28-year-old woman wanted for carrying out this criminal activity was put in handcuffs.
As a result of research and other procedural actions carried out within the coded police operation “Flower”, developed on 17.06.2023, by the specialists of the Narcotics and Illegal Traffic Investigation Section of DVP Durres, in cooperation with The Durres Prosecutor’s Office located and arrested 2 wanted citizens:
From the evidence obtained as a result of a four-month investigation, it is suspected that the 38-year-old threatened the citizen V. M. to practice prostitution, as well as providing her with clients from Albania, Italy and Belgium, to carry out this criminal activity, against payments of 150-300 euros.
A vehicle, 4 mobile phones and a tablet were seized as material evidence.
Meanwhile, the procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Durrës for further actions.
