“Two Albanians in serious condition”, ABC News in Larissa hospital

The collision of two trains in Greece left behind a high number of victims and injured, while the authorities continue the work to identify the burned bodies as a result of the serious accident. ABC News reporter Arlind Isa is in the neighboring country since yesterday where he is closely following the developments of this tragic event.

He said that in total there are seven Albanian citizens who have been injured, while two of them are in resuscitation in a serious state of health. While reporting from the University Hospital of Larisa, journalist Isa referred to the information of the authorities and informed that so far 47 people have lost their lives.

“A part of the injured Albanians have been treated and are being treated here in Larisa. In the accident, seven Albanian citizens were injured, who were placed in different hospitals in Thessaloniki and Larisa. In Thessaloniki, there are three and four more in Larissa hospital. Two Albanian citizens in Larisa entered the intensive care unit and a third had minor signs of injuries and left the hospital.

Currently, as we speak, there are two Albanians in the hospital. “A total of 23 injured and wounded from the accident last night where a total of 47 people lost their lives,” he said.
