A 23-year-old man from Durrës was arrested by Tirana police this Sunday after he held a hostage and abused a 17-year-old girl. According to the police, this citizen had deprived him of his freedom for several hours, as well as abused the 17-year-old.
Investigative actions found that the 23-year-old man forcibly took into his vehicle his 17-year-old girlfriend, depriving her of her freedom for several hours, as well as violently assaulting the minor girl.
Following arrest, the procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana for further actions.
