Tirana Police has handcuffed this Thursday a 27-year-old man who robbed by knife a sum of money from a private post office on Wednesday evening.
According to the police, the incident happened yesterday evening, in the branch of a private post office on “5 Maji” street, where citizen Ordis Molla took a sum of money after threatening to stab the post office worker.
Furthermore, the sum of money, the knife he used, the clothes he used during the robbery and the motorcycle with which he ran away were seized as material evidence.
Procedural materials against Molla were passed to Tirana’s Prosecution for the criminal offenses “Theft with violence” and “Possessing cold weapons without permission”.
“Crime Investigation Specialists of the Police Station No. 4, following the investigative actions carried out to clarify the event that happened yesterday evening, in the branch of a private post office on “5 Maji” street, where a citizen took a sum of money after threatening the post office employee, with a cutting tool (knife) ) and then left with a motorcycle, have organized and finalized the police operation coded “Filiali”, as a result of which the citizen was arrested:

As a result of the investigative actions carried out by the Police, it became possible to identify this citizen, who on 17.05.2023, at around 21:15, entered the branch of a private post office on “5 Maji” street, received his daily round threatening the post office worker with a knife, and then drove away in a motorcycle”, informed the police.
