One person has been arrested and another has been prosecuted this Wednesday morning during the police operation coded “The Promiser”.
Citizen K.A., 52 years old, was put in handcuffs and the 61-year-old citizen A.D. was processed in a free state, because in cooperation with each other, they communicated about buying and selling votes for a political entity.
These two people appeared in a video, communicating with each other to buy and sell votes. In the meantime, the materials were passed to the Special Prosecutor’s Office against Corruption and Organized Crime for further action.
“Specialists of the Section for Corruption Investigation at DVP Tirana, following the work to attack any illegality, based on the footage posted on the portals, in which a citizen appears who communicates about buying and selling votes, immediately organized the work and have finalized the coded police operation “The Promiser”.
As a result, the arrest of citizen K. A., 52 years old, resident of Tirana, was made, as well as the free trial for citizen A. D., 61 years old, resident of Tirana.
