Tirana International Airport informs all passengers who travel through Rinas to show up three hours before departure to their destination, for check-in.
This rule will be applied until September 10. According to TIA, this measure aims to “improve the overall travel experience for all passengers”.
TIA, among other things, says that it is committed to ensuring the safety and comfort of all passengers.
“Tirana International Airport would like to inform you about a vital update regarding the check-in and security process at Tirana International Airport (TIA) from today until the 10th of September.
To ensure smooth travel and to accommodate increased passenger volumes during this period, we kindly request all passengers to arrive at the airport a minimum of 3 hours before their scheduled departure time.
This proactive measure will help us maintain efficient operations and provide you with a stress-free experience.
Please take into consideration the potential additional time required for baggage check-in, security screenings, and any unforeseen circumstances that might arise.
We understand that this may require you to adjust your travel plans slightly, but we assure you that this measure is aimed at enhancing the overall travel experience for everyone.
