The prosecution has filed three charges against Alda Klosi. The police arrested Alda Klosi on the evening of Friday, February 3, after it is suspected that in December, more than 120 thousand euros and 30 thousand dollars were stolen from Rozeta Dobi, who worked as a sanitary worker in Klosi’s apartment.
The former official of the Prime Minister’s Office is accused of concealing assets, money laundering and making a false statement to a police officer. The event attracted attention mostly due to the fact that an amount of more than 120 thousand euros and 30 thousand dollars was found in cash in the house of Alda Klosi.
Doubts about the case increased, after Klosi gave two different statements about the stolen money. On the day when the robbery took place in her apartment, she declared to the police that she only lacked an amount of money that was needed for expenses and daily vital functioning.
And only 3 weeks later, on January 7, when Rozeta Dobi was arrested, she suddenly announced that she had found that she was missing more than 120,000 euros and 30,000 dollars, which according to her she had received from her uncle, to take care of for his house and son while he was in the US for treatment.
The sources said that the arrest of Alda Klosi comes at a time when her former cleaner, arrested together with her son, Rozeta Dobi, “has been exposed” with a long testimony thus revealing details on the official of the Albanian state.
Rozeta Dodi was arrested after the denunciation of the Klosi family for the theft of an amount of 120 thousand euros, but after the interception of the cleaner, another large amount of money, about 400 thousand euros, was discovered in the house of the latter.
It is learned that Rozeta Dobi, among other things, told the investigators that “I saw a lot of money, I cleaned a lot of houses.” I often looked at them in the box, she let me hide them”.
