The police seized this Thursday a significant amount of money. Accordingly, 82,550 euros were seized at Durres’s port and 12,820 pounds at Rinas Airport. According to the police, the euros seized in the Port of Durres were found hidden in the bus of the “Durres-Bari-Durres” line.
For this case, the two bus drivers were arrested, who did not declare the monetary amount, which they tried to bring illegally into our country. However, in the second operation in Rinas, a young man from Burreli, but living in London, was found and seized the amount of more than 12 thousand pounds.
He did not declare them at the border, while the authorities immediately started the procedure for his release. Three days ago, the Police seized another 121,680 euros in the port of Durres that were trying to enter Albania, hiding them in the ceiling of a bus.
