US Embassy has responded to the Attorney General for PSD candidate Tom Doshi. The prosecution institution is quite reserved regarding the response that the State Department has sent to the prosecution.
It has been learned that the decriminalization sector will now ask Interpol for information on whether or not Doshi has been convicted in other countries.
The Decriminalization Sector in the General Prosecutor’s Office, after the request of the CEC, started the verification of the candidate of the Social Democratic Party Tom Doshi. The Attorney General requested information from the US State Department, where he requested information on the reasons why he was declared non grata by the DASH.
After the response of Interpol, the Decriminalization sector will send the materials to the CEC, which will decide whether or not to allow his candidacy. Doshi has been declared “Non Grata” by the United States of America since 18th April, together with his family, while Ambassador Yuri Kim has repeatedly called for him not to be allowed to run in the 25th April elections. /abcnews.al
