The file for the highest tower to be built in Tirana, otherwise called “Mountain of Tirana” has been handed to SPAK.
Members of the Municipal Council, part of the Democratic Party, filed a lawsuit at noon today and have stated that they will make available to justice all the evidence they have provided.
The lawsuit was filed by Enriketa Papa. The latter indicated that this complaint was filed for 3 criminal offenses, abuse of office, money laundering and corruption.
It has been hinted in the media that a well-known businessman who has close ties with Shkelzen Berisha is hiding behind the construction of this tower, Papa was asked about this, but he did not prefer to give names in a statement made to the media.
“We denounce corruption and this is the first step we take to denounce and show evidence of Democratic Party’s commitments and ongoing struggle for corrupt affairs that are done at the expense of citizens.
The details of the report will be made further in an official statement,” said the Papa, among other things.
