224 people have died from Covid in one month in Albania. A 5-year-old from Saranda who suffered from other diseases, is the second youngest victim in the country. September closes with a high number of deaths. 45 people died in the last three days alone.
While October starts with a decrease in the number of victims. It culminates at the end of the first week, but without reaching the figures of the last month. 12 victims were recorded on October 7 while on September 29 their number reached 17.
Such a high death toll from Covid 19 was repeated again after 12 days while every 24 hours an average of 7 deaths were recorded. Hospitalization and those who show the most serious health condition during this month have remained almost in the same figures.
Meanwhile the active infected have suffered a decline with about 2500 affected across the country. Tirana and Fieri have the highest number of people with coronavirus while Kukes and Dibra have the lowest.
