The National Integration Council will have a meeting this Tuesday at the Palace of Congresses, which will be attended by President Ilir Meta and Prime Minister Edi Rama, Parliament Speaker Gramoz Ruçi and EU Ambassador Luigi Soreca.
The works of the Council on “The latest developments in the framework of preparations for the negotiation process in the European Union and the presentation of the comprehensive draft plan of European integration measures” will be launched by the President, Rudina Hajdari, which will be followed by the ambassador of the European Union, Soreca, and then President Meta.
Meanwhile, in the second session of the meeting, the acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gent Cakaj, is expected to discuss, followed by the Prime Minister, Edi Rama.
At the end of the meeting, the head of the SP Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, who also holds the position of Deputy Chairman of this Council, will have the right to speak.
This meeting of the National Integration Council comes at a time when the European Union has officially given their approval for the start of the negotiation process for the Albania.
