The National Assembly of the Democratic Party started with applause, during which some important changes in the statute are expected to be made. Berisha and his wife Liri, as well as all the delegates, have already arrived in the hall of the Palace of Congresses.
This Assembly is expected to make other changes in the statute, but most importantly, to announce May 22 as the date for the election of the new chairman of the DP, emphasizing here that Berisha has accepted that he will be one of candidates.
Among the statutory changes is expected to be the automatic inclusion in the new National Council of deputies of the group, as well as the return of a number of personalities who have left over the years.
