Three experts, two of whom are independent, are expected to reconstruct the scene of the crime that occurred on the eve of the 2021 parliamentary elections in Elbasan, based on a decision of the Court of Appeal.
The three experts who will reconstruct the crime scene are Arjan Hanko, from the Scientific Police Institute, Artan Rexhepi and Shpëtim Buda, independent experts. Experts must determine the direction of firing of weapons on the day of the event, where Pjerin Xhuvani was the victim.
The court asked the experts to reconstruct the scene at the scene of the incident, while the police have placed the perimeter tapes to give the experts space to work. The investigative experiment comes after the requests of Arbë Paplekaj, who asked to determine the angle of the shooting not only by him, but also by two other people who have not yet been identified after this event.
Paplekaj is the only person who is facing justice related to the event, even though it has been stated that there was a distortion of the event and an attempt to hide its episodes, by not conducting a full investigation.
This will be the second time the event has been re-enacted. Earlier, the Prosecution of Elbasan reconstructed the event in July 2022, but that seems to have left doubts about the conclusions. The crime scene is expected to be reconstructed tomorrow at 10:00 a.m./abcnews.al
