Yesterday, Portuguese citizen, Ruben Saraiva, who was the executioner for the murder of businessman Ardian Nikulaj in the bar owned by him in Shengjin, was arrested in Morocco, after he had traveled to this country from Greece.
But regarding the extradition agreement with Morocco, the relevant authorities have in the past used the principle of mutual reciprocity in some cases.
This means that there is a possibility that Saraiva will be exchanged with a person declared wanted by the Moroccan authorities and who may have been detained in Albania.
Meanwhile, some of his family member live in Morocco, and apparently he was also informed about the lack of an extradition agreement with Albania of this country, choosing it as the place where he would continue his escape.
The police have been able to confirm that Saraiva arrived in Rabat by airline with false documents, but it is still not clear from which country.
According to the police, it is confirmed that he was in Greece, where he stayed for days, but it has not yet been specified whether he flew from a neighboring country or from another nearby country.
Communication has been established with the Moroccan authorities, with whom, according to the police, fruitful cooperation is being established, even though without an extradition agreement, all attempts will be tried through international conventions to bring him to our country.
