Opposition leader Lulzim Basha after the meeting with the ambassadors stated that Albania is taking steps backwards.
He stressed out that the government’s decisions are pushing the country further away from Europe.
“The opposition is committed to Albania’s progress in the EU and the fulfillment of 15 conditions. I have asked for the help of EU member states, so that Albania can open negotiations, should have the necessary political and financial support to face the situation in a political, social, economic crisis, stated Basha.
Meanwhile, journalist Juxhin Mustafaraj told “ABC News” that Basha in this meeting called on ambassadors to support Albania.
Regarding to the Electoral Reform, Basha said that the SP should take into account the proposals and drafts that the opposition has presented./abcnews.al
