European Commission spokesmen told for Abcnews, that President Von der Leyen and Prime Minister Rama spoke about preparations for the upcoming international donor conference, which will take place on 17 February in Brussels and will be organized by the European Commission.
They agreed to be in touch to ensure that the conference produces concrete results for the benefit of the Albanian people.
In addition, President Von der Leyen and Prime Minister Rama discussed the process of Albania’s accession to the European Union.
President Von der Leyen reiterated her conviction that the European Union should keep itheir promises to Albania and Northern Macedonia and membership negotiations should be open soon./abcnews.al
