The juridical police officer is arrested for corruption

Two officers of the Judicial Police in Elbasan are accused of corruption. They, together with another person, have received in some cases from two people, irregular monetary benefits, in monetary amounts as well as other material benefits, to perform actions related to their duty and function.

For one of the officers, SPAK has set the security measure “House arrest”, while for the other officer, the security measure “Compulsion to appear before the judicial police”.

The judicial police services of the Tirana Police Directorate executed on 24.05.2023 the personal security measures imposed on the persons under investigation above. The preliminary investigations for this criminal proceeding are ongoing and have not yet been completed./abcnews.al
