Prime Minister Edi Rama and his counterpart from North Macedonia, Dimitar Kovacevski, have started the joint conference after the meeting of the two governments and the signing of 21 agreements.
Kovacevski thanked Albania for its support, while guaranteeing that the two countries will succeed in the future thanks to leadership and vision.
“There is close cooperation between our countries, Ed and I have a strong common political will. We have both demonstrated what it means to be courageous and successful leadership, that is why we are on the common European path. Therefore, I would like to take the opportunity to thank Ed for his support. Even though it’s not easy, you Eddie, you gave us support. It is good to have friends like Albania, together we can do a lot and I will remember this support forever”, said the Macedonian Prime Minister.
“It is very easy to talk about the past and what separates us, but to talk about development and the future, it requires work, vision and leadership and we have that, so we will succeed”, Kovacevski added.
