A preliminary hearing session is being held today, led by Democratic Party leader Lulzim Basha and two officials, Arben Ristani and Ilir Dervishi.
DP leader Lulzim Basha declined to attend the hearing session, while he is represented by lawyers Ivi Kaso and Eduart Halimi.
Journalist Glidona Daci, tells for abcnews.al that Kaso arrived in court a few minutes ago. Another defendant, Arben Ristani, also arrived in court.
While Ilir Dervishi has chosen to be represented by lawyers as well.
It will be Judge Lazer Sallaku, who will make the decision on the case.
The request for trial was signed by prosecutors Ervin Karanxha and Gjergj Tako, while the third prosecutor, Kol Hysenaj, refused to sign it.
Prosecutor Hysenaj was of the opinion that the investigation should be pursued, while his colleagues signed the case to be sent for trial./abcnews.al
