The court session for the son-in-law of former prime minister Sali Berisha, Jamarber Malltezi, is postponed.
ABC News has learned that the hearing will be held on March 8. According to SPAK, in order to commit corruption, Malltezi is accused of having cooperated with one of the highest authorities of the time, specifically the former prime minister Sali Berisha, thereby undermining the foundations of society and even extending corruption to the highest state structures.
Malltezi was arrested in October 2023, for the affair of the privatization of the former complex “Partizani” and after a month of stay in the cell he was released by the judge of Appeal, Iliriana Olldashi, who set the measure of “house arrest”.
