Actor Guljelm Radoja died due to Covid-19. It is learned that the actor had been intubated at the “Shefqet Ndroqi” hospital in the capital for two days, but could not survive.
He stayed in the hospital of Durres for more than a month and then he was transferred to the hospital “Shefqet Ndroqi” in Tirana. A few weeks ago, his son, Redi Radoja, said that the artist’s condition had worsened after his lungs were affected.
Guljelm Radoja was born on July 2, 1945 in the city of Shkodra. After completing his higher studies at the Higher Institute of Arts (today the Academy of Arts) for Dramaturgy in 1972, he began working as a professional actor at the Librazhd Theater.
In cinematography he has played more than 30 roles.
For his artistic merits Guljelm Radoja has been honored with the title “Artist i merituar”. /abcnews.al/
