President of the Republic, Ilir Meta has revealed Friday that he has no interest on the new organic law draft based on which the institution of the President of the Republic will function and labelled the draft as “coup attempts”.
The Head of State believes the Parliament is not Constitutional and the citizens seek its immediate dissolution. A considerable number of the people in Parliament are “traitors and mercenaries”, highlighted President Meta as he said he is interested only on 25th April and people of Albania.
“Zero interest for these drafts and coup attempts. This is an non-constitutional parliament, a parliament where citizens demand its immediate dissolution. A parliament where a good part are both traitors and mercenaries. For me there is only one interest, which is April 25 and the people of Albania. I have started my march as president towards the referendum of 25th April. This will be a very clear referendum as over 95% of Albanians will vote for Albania in Europe”, stressed out the President of Albania.
ABC provided the draft law of the President of the Republic, which provides for some changes that leave the rights of the president to the powers he has, but limit his action by setting deadlines, within which he must react.
However, the parties have agreed that the organic law will be subject to parliamentary procedures and earlier today, the Socialist MP Adnor Shameti explained there will be a consultation on the bill after it is submitted in the Parliament./abcnews.al
