The Conference of Presidents on the issue of electing a new president will convene on May 4. The Conference of Speakers is convened at the request of the Chairman of the SP Group, Taulant Balla and is chaired by the Speaker of the Assembly, Lindita Nikolla.
This meeting will be based on two items on the agenda: Determining the procedure for the election of the President of the Republic; determining the date of the first round of voting.
Taulant Balla will sit down with Enkelejd Alibeaj, Fatmir Mediu and Mesila Doda for negotiations on the new name of the President. Balla stated that it is predicted that Albania will have the new President of the country within 24 May.
