The candidate for MP of the Democratic Party, Xhelal Mziu apologized after the strong statement made this Thursday from Dibra, that those who tried to buy the vote would end up killed, bringing the example of the event in Elbasan.
Through a statement, Mziu claims that he supports free and fair elections and that he is against violence.
“With the utmost sincerity, I express my regret for my unnecessary comment a day ago, due to the strong emotions of the moment.
I want to be clear: I support free and fair elections and I am against violence! I deeply regret my comment and apologize to all Albanians,” Mziu stated.
