The Parliament of Albania announced this Thursday the vacancies for 6 members of the KLGJ( The Supreme Judicial Council)and KLP (The High Prosecutorial Council) from the ranks of lawyers and civil society organizations The Assembly of Albania, based on law no. 115/2016.
“On the governing bodies of the justice system” as amended, has started the procedures for the replacement of 6 members of the High Judicial Council and the High Prosecution Council, whose mandate ends in December 2023.
In the announcement published on the official website of the Assembly, it is learned that the procedures have been announced and started to fill 2 vacant positions from the ranks of lawyers and one from the civil society organizations in the KLGJ, as well as 2 vacant positions from the ranks of lawyers and 1 from the civil society organizations in the KLP.
According to the announcement published on the official website of the Assembly, those interested in running and who meet the conditions provided for in the relevant legislation, must express their interest by means of a written request addressed to the Ombudsman by August 5, 2023.
