President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi attended International Conference “Religion as an Instrument for Peace”, also organized with the cooperation of DASH. During his speech, Thaçi said that the Albanian nation is an example of religious harmony while emphasizing that even during the war Kosovo did not implicate religion.

Let me talk a little bit about Kosovo’s experience with religion and peace. The first achievement is that we have not allowed religion to be implicated in the Kosovo war. We have continued the tradition of Kosovo when we never had interfaith conflict. In Kosovo too, we have faced radicalism but we reacted immediately.
