Starting from tomorrow, Tirana will be armed with numerous security measures due to the summits and the visit of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to the capital.
It is expected that the president of Ukraine will arrive in Rinas on the evening of February 27, where he will participate in the summit for Ukraine and the Western Balkans.
ABC News learns that the measures of the State Police will start on February 27, where more than 1,600 police forces will be engaged.
The entire RENEA department will be ready, as well as the FSK. The next day, the Anti-Terrorist sector, the services of SHISH and RENEA will land in Rinas to check the security at Rinas airport.
Regarding the safety of the dignitaries who will be at the summit for days, there are also foreign experts in our country, who have provided their assistance in escorting foreign dignitaries from Rinas, as well as a special group that deals with security of Ukrainian President Zelensky.
The anti-explosive groups that monitor the main roads and supervise the entire security perimeter will also be on the ground from the police.
Police services will be present on all the entrance and exit roads of the city of Tirana and on other roads inside the capital, in order to take measures to ensure and regulate traffic on alternative roads./abcnews.al
