The former Minister of Finance, Anila Denaj, appeared at SPAK this Friday. It is learned that Denaj will give clarifications regarding the investigations that are being carried out for the tender for the sterilization of surgical equipment at the Ministry of Health.
Earlier, former minister Ilir Beqja and former deputy minister Klodian Rrjepaj were also asked about this issue.
SPAK is also conducting investigations for other tenders that are suspected of being corrupt, such as the concession for check-ups or free health checks.
A few days ago, as part of the investigations for this SPAK tender, it interrogated 70 citizens from Elbasan. Denaj held the position of Minister of Finance from January 2019 to September 2021. Currently, she is a deputy of the Socialist Party in the district of Vlora.
