In the framework of the investigations it is conducting against the former deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj, GJKKO( Special Courts against Corruption and Organised Crime) has executed several control orders in the 4 apartments of the former minister Arben Ahmetaj and his family members.
Journalist Ermal Vija reports for ABC News that so far the searches have been done in an apartment in Tirana and in Durres owned by Ahmetaj and his family, but so far no evidence has been found.
Among other things, it is said that from this control, no documents were found in his apartments that could help in further deepening the justice against him. Therefore, the former minister was first asked to remove his immunity from the Assembly, and then the control of his properties was decided.
