Six people have been collared this Wednesday by Tirana police, In the framework of the coded operation “Selita Center”, after being accused of deceiving foreign citizens to invest money in fictitious markets.
During the operation, citizens Ermion Markaj, Patricja Radovani, Donald Toma, Areteo Butsi, Emanuele Jaho and Fiodor Ziu were arrested, while the administrator of the subject, citizen Julian Markaj, was declared wanted.
In the premises of this entity, the Police found 53 operators who were deceiving foreign citizens, mainly Italian and Greek, to invest money in fictitious markets.
Verifications showed that the citizens who were found in this subject were illegally employed and deceived foreign citizens, mainly Italian and Greek, to invest money in fictitious markets.
During the control in the premises of this entity, 101 computers, 2 laptops, 1 DVR and 10 mobile phones were found, which were seized as material evidence.
Then, the materials were passed to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, for the criminal offenses “Computer fraud”, “Illegal employment”, “Concealment of income”, “Non-payment of taxes and duties” and “Cleaning of products criminal offense or criminal activity”.
