Famous singer Ruenca Haxhiaj, known by the stage name Enca, has been arrested by the police for cultivating narcotic plants. Following arrest, the singer said that she is a user and has it for personal use.
On the porch of her apartment on the outskirts of the capital, 5 pots were found where hashish had been planted, while Enca’s boyfriend was also caught with it.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, for further actions.
“Services of the Police Station No. 1, following the work to combat illegality, after the information provided by the police intelligence, that a citizen had cultivated narcotic plants, on the balcony of her apartment, have organized and finalized the coded police operation “Balcony”.
As a result of this operation, citizen R. H., 27 years old, living in Lundër, was arrested.
During the inspection of the 27-year-old’s apartment, on the balcony, the Police services found and seized, as material evidence, suspected narcotic cannabis plants, grown in pots”, said the police.
