A 39-year-old man has been arrested by Vlora Police this Wednesday morning, after being accused of a series of thefts in the coastal city. According to the police, Festim Gilani was responsible for 7 thefts in apartments in various neighborhoods of Vlora.
Meanwhile, the police is working on documenting other thefts that may have been committed by this citizen and the materials were passed to the Prosecution for further procedural actions on the criminal charge of theft.
“The services of the Vlora Police Station, following the work for the prevention of thefts, clarifying those that happened before and bringing the perpetrators to legal responsibility, after a real investigative work of several weeks, based on the information provided by the information intelligence, organized and successfully completed the coded police operation “Storm 6”, as a result of which a citizen was arrested: F. G., 39 years old, for the criminal offense “Theft”.
Full list of thefts suspected to have been committed by the 39-year-old below:
1. On 03.01.2023, it is suspected that he stole some electrical appliances in a flat, in the neighborhood “Pavarësia”;
2. On 25.01.2023, it is suspected that he stole some electric cables, in an apartment, in the “Partizani” neighborhood;
3. On 15.02.2023, it is suspected that he stole some electric cables, in an apartment, in the neighborhood “24 Maji”;
4. On 24.03.2023, it is suspected that he stole some electrical appliances, in a flat, in the neighborhood “10 Korriku”;
On 29.03.2023, it is suspected that he stole some electrical appliances, in a flat, in the neighborhood “Isa Boletini”;
On 14.05.2023, it is suspected that he stole a sum of money, in an apartment, in the neighborhood “Pavarësia”;
7. On 15.05.2023, it is suspected that he stole various valuable items, in an apartment, in the “Isa Boletini” neighborhood.
