In Rinas, it has become possible to capture an Albanian sentenced to eight years in prison in Italy for several crimes. The police inform that the arrested person is Dritan Hyka (Asimaj), from Vlora. The procedures to extradite him to Italy will now begin.
Internationally wanted, sentenced to 8 years of imprisonment in Italy for several criminal offences, the 38-year-old from Vlora was arrested and put in handcuffs with the intention of extradition. The Rinas Border Police Services, following the work for the detailed verification of the documents of citizens entering and leaving Albania, based on the risk analysis, at the entrance of the RS, have passed for detailed verification of the documents, the citizen Dritan Hyka (Asimaj), 38 years old, resident of Selenica, Vlora.
After the verifications carried out by the Border Police, in cooperation with Interpol Tirana, it turned out that this citizen was declared an international wanted by Interpol Rome, Italy, after the Court of Milan has sentenced him to 8 years of imprisonment, for the criminal offenses “Exploitation of prostitution”. “Drug trafficking”, “Attempted residential burglary” and “Violation of the migration law”, provided for by Italian criminal legislation.
