Father and son have been arrested by the Tirana police after being accused of distributing and storing contraband goods. According to the police, it was learned that within the coded operation “Next”, father and son transported smuggled goods to Albania, and stored them in the entity under their administration.
An employee of this entity was also criminally prosecuted in connection with this incident. During the control exercised in the entity under administration by this citizen, on “Xhanfize Keko” street, the Police services found various suspected smuggled goods.
From the verifications carried out, it was found that these goods were transported to Albania, by the two arrested persons, who stored them in this subject, and then the goods were distributed by their employee in several sales points, in different areas of Tirana.
Various suspected smuggled goods were seized as material evidence. The operation to strike this illegality follows. The materials were passed to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana, for further procedural actions.
