Interior Minister Taulant Balla spoke about the law on addresses at the meeting of the Parliamentary Security Committee. Balla emphasized that it is very important that the national address register be updated regularly.
“Each apartment in Albania will have a unique code. We also worked with by laws. Good laws need strong sanctions.
The national address register must be updated regularly. Apartments must have a unique code, so that even tourists can find the correct address. The story that the apartment is at the Arrow Palace, then you have a kiosk and go to the third floor, this will not work.
With the Unique Code, this problem will end. We have provided a code for both the apartment and the building,” said Balla.
