They were supposed to be launched in space at the end of March, but so far the satellites “Albania 1” and “Albania 2” have not flown. In this regard, a reaction has come from Prime Minister Edi Rama, who has a response to the critics saying that the delays are not in his hands.
Among other things, Rama insists that he will not give up his commitment to raise the two satellites of Albania in space.
“Some people were very impatient with the satellites and according to the new fashion they say what they want without asking at all how it is! I wonder how they do not want to understand: I say what I do, I do what I say, and when the delays are not in my hands, just be patient, but I do not break the promise! Writes Prime Minister Edi Rama.
According to Rama, satellites will be a great help to catch all environmental crimes in our country. Rama added that the satellite that will be launched in space will not only be able to identify illegal constructions or damage to river beds but also cannabis plots. In this way, Rama said that a policeman does not have to go to the top of the mountain every day to check if cannabis plots have been planted. The Prime Minister considers as intolerable the garbage dumps, filling the areas with gravel in the forests and the coastline, while earlier he emphasized that the satellites will make available to the police all the violations that occur in the territory.
