The meeting of the Presidency of the Democratic Party started on Tuesday afternoon at the blue headquarters. The meeting comes just a few hours after the end of the Gazment Bardhi-Edi Paloka meeting in a coffee bar in front of the Parliament.
During his speech before the Democrats, Chief Democrat Sali Berisha said that the PD will be more open and democratic. He emphasized that today the right-wing parties have gathered for the approval of the guide regarding the mode of participation of sympathizers in the primaries for the 2023 local government elections, such as the election of the Commission for Organization and Electoral Controls and the third point, the opening of the primary race for local government in all PD branches.

However, we remember that the approval of the guide for the Primaries was taken by the Alibeaj group as a lack of seriousness in the already started process of finding a way to come up with joint candidates in this spring’s local elections. According to them, in this way, primaries become a fait accompli as a method by which candidates will be selected.
