The Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte said that Albania has made great progress in reforms regarding EU integration. Emphasizing the support of the Netherlands, Rutte said that the time has come to be fair and move forward in this direction.
At the joint conference with Prime Minister Edi Rama, Rutte said that it is important to resolve the issue of Bulgaria to enable the holding of the Intergovernmental Conference.
“You and I have built a friendship over the days, but it is better not to debate but to work together. I am glad that we have taken the first step towards the EU to start the conference. I will also visit Macedonia, we must be rigorous and fair and you have made so much progress.
We need to formally start these negotiations to be fair. To have something along the way that we will move forward, I am happy for the fact that both countries are developing a deep connection.
The Netherlands is the largest investor in Albania. These companies are working to do more business in these countries. We work not only economically, but also in relation to architects. You yourself being an artist are very well known.
Let us continue to work hard, meet… hope to succeed after Sunday’s elections in Bulgaria so that at least both intergovernmental conferences start. You are artists and feel very good not only as prime minister but also as an artist.
