Energy expert, Lorenc Gordani this Wednesday was invited to the studio of ABC Live where he gave details about the situation of recent price increases in our country.
According to the expert we are facing a crisis and it is important to have ready the scenarios that will help us get through it, as 2022 is expected to be an even gloomier and more difficult year.
Among other things, he commented on the fact of the crisis that has involved urban and public transport, where he stressed that the great responsibility lies with the municipalities, which must be responsible and provide a part of the most important lines.
“The increase of prices in our country has started since August, when in October we declared a civil emergency for the increase of prices. European operators had refused to supply gas in the summer as prices were high. In this sense we have also used our energy reserves.
We have to explain that there are problems from both sides but the fact is that making projects for the production of energy with solar panels need to be done genuine studies.
The figures for the four months from January to April show that 320 million euros are needed to provide energy, and that at this stage we will have price increases. Restrictions have to be set for large customers such as for them to work at night but again for us this does not work as we do not have many large industries.
Among other things, the expert commented on the increase of oil prices to maximum levels compared to other countries in the region, especially the fact that in our country there are a number of different taxes that neighbors do not have.
According to him, a solution to have as many opportunities for overcoming the crisis is to have an integrated market and a similar fiscal system.
