Two Libyan citizens were criminally prosecuted this Saturday by the Albanian police after they tried to introduce undeclared money through Rinas.
According to the police, it was learned that during the physical check, in the handbag of the citizen K. A., the Border Police services found and seized as material evidence, the sum of 45,900 US dollars. While M. M. citizens, the Police services found and seized the amount of 48,100 US dollars.
“Following the actions, Libyan citizens K.A., 55 years old and M.M., 49 years old, were criminally prosecuted in a free state, for the criminal offense of “Failure to declare cash and valuables at the border”.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Tirana Judicial District Court, for further actions,” the police announcement states.
