Prime Minister Edi Rama has stated that there is an organized attack to harm Albanian tourism, as many fake profiles have been opened that are used to the detriment of tourism.

He emphasized that our security systems have turned on the red light for this, and this is one side of the coin, since Albanian tourism had a breakthrough last year.

“There is an organized attack to damage Albanian tourism. I have spoken with the mayors of the coastal municipalities, all of them are scandalized by many videos, news, fake, manipulated comments made on purpose, and who want to say that no one comes here. I am very surprised and scandalized with many fake news that want to say that no one came here. Of course, the facts are on the ground and our security systems have red-lighted this, many fake profiles being used for this attack.

This is one side of the coin that is worth understanding that what was the opening of tourism in the eyes of the world, came with new challenges. Just before 86% increase in the flow of tourists, then they come to the region and many of the western countries are declining and the reasons do not need to be commented on. From January to September, there are 25% more arrivals of Kosovo citizens than in years, Italians until June were 57%, while Turkish tourists 61%, Poles 71% because they were among the first to arrive,” he said. /abcnews.al
