“The pleasure that breeds so many delusions and accusations about cyber- attack by an aggressor state, in addition to deep ignorance of the field and great laziness to information, speaks of a disgusting evil in relation to the country and the people of this country “, said the Prime Minister. Also, on July 15, our country became the object of a serious cyber attack, which aimed to destroy the Government’s digital infrastructure, paralyze public services, as well as steal data and electronic communications from government systems. The investigation showed that the cyber aggression was orchestrated and sponsored by the Islamic Republic of Iran, which engaged four groups for the attack on Albania.
For this reason, the Council of Ministers decided on September 7 to terminate diplomatic relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran with immediate effect.
The attack was condemned by the allied and friendly countries of Albania.
