The most scandalous president in the history of Albania has been described by the Prime Minister Edi Rama, Ilir Meta. At the meeting of the Parliamentary Group of the Socialist Party, Rama said that the circumstances were such that forced him to elect Ilir Meta at the head of the state, describing him as “president for the opposition”.
“What makes this moment very decisive for the character and profile of SP is that it is not enough to simply choose a person who would be more suitable for that role than Ilir Meta. But, it is to choose a figure that has integrity that guarantees mutual respect that ensures a level of professionalism in addressing the whole range of issues related to the president as well as conveying a spirit,” said Rama.
