Prime Minister Edi Rama arrived this Thursday in Skopje as part of his tour to the Western Balkans. Head of the Albanian government was hosted by the Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Dimitar Kovacevski, while he was also accompanied by the Minister of Defense, Niko Peleshi and Majlinda Dhuka, Albania’s chief negotiator with the EU.
After the meeting with the Macedonian Prime Minister, a press conference will be held. Afterwards, Rama will head to Pristina to meet at 4:00 PM with President Vjosa Osmani and then with the Speaker of the Assembly, Glauk Konjufca.
Earlier on, Rama announced that he was waiting for a confirmation from Kurti to meet. Responding to Kurti’s request yesterday, that the joint meeting of the governments be held first, Rama announced that the 13 agreements have been signed and that he has submitted them to the Foreign Ministry of Kosovo.
Moreover, the head of government added that with this action, he expects PM Kurti to confirm the meeting with him.
