Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, during his official visit to Croatia, expressed about some of the topics he discussed with his counterpart Petkovic.
“Croatia is an example and a source of encouragement in our process of walking towards EU membership. Croatia is an example of success, recently also with the Eurozone and Schengen, and what Croatia has achieved a decade after EU integration, not only makes us happy, but undoubtedly encourages us and makes us more demanding of our friends in Zagreb to help us in the first place with their experience for a process that Croatia has set before us, and has set up a tower of knowledge.
I want as much support as possible with knowledge about tourism, cyber security, active knowledge in the function of employment and to deal specifically, as the case may be, that we currently have with some corrections that we will make in the field of administration of EU funds for agriculture.
During the conference, Rama emphasized that within the framework of the Summit, which will be held in Tirana, important news is expected for the progress of the region towards the EU.
“At this summit, we will have some important news for the region’s progress on the path of rapprochement with the European Union”, stated Rama.
