Rama admits to having highest prices of fuel in region

Prime Minister Edi Rama from the rostrum of the assembly, has admitted that Albania has the most expensive oil in the region, but the head of the government has justified that he is distributing the burden of the crisis.

According to him, Albania has the lowest taxes in the region and that small business does not receive any money. He also focused on energy subsidies for family members.

“It is not a secret but a truth. We have given arguments. It is true that we have a higher price than others .. But Unlike others we have lower taxes than unlike the region in small business we do not get any money. Zero tax and zero VAT up to 100 million turnover.

Unlike the region we really have the highest tax on big business but we subsidize 100% of electricity. Unlike the region, we give you money and will give it to all Albanians who travel by public transport. We will continue to give money to farmers for oil. Registered farmers, we talked about adding this. And we will give it to you. “Unlike the region, we have a growing fishing industry.” said Rama.
