The Tirana police have determined the plan of measures for the protest called today by the opposition, at 12:00, on the “Dëshmorët e Kombit” boulevard. About 1,000 police officers, law enforcement, FNSH and RENEA will be on the road.
The police announces that starting at 06:00 on Saturday, parking of vehicles will not be allowed on the roads connected to Dëshmorët e Kombitt boulevard, “Nënë Tereza” square, “Ismail Qemali” street, from the intersection of Elbasan street with “Ibrahim Rugova” street, “Pope John Paul II” street, “Zhan D’Ark” boulevard and “Bajram Curri” boulevard, from the intersection of Elbasani street with “Ibrahim Rugova” street.
On these roads, vehicle traffic will be blocked from 10:00 am until the end of the rally.
Two hours after the announced protest of the opposition on Dëshmorët e Kombit Boulevard, numerous police forces surrounded the government building as part of the plan of measures for its smooth running. Also, the entrance of the building is covered with metal cladding.
