“I feel deeply sorry for the death of the veteran professor of the Department of History and one of my much loved and respected Professors, Prof. Dr. Adem Mezini.
I feel lucky that I was a former student and friend of Prof.Dr. Adem Mezini and I keep unforgettable memories, not only for his outstanding pedagogical skills but also for the very warm and human communication, as a brilliant erudite, who always radiated wisdom and kindness and with his special and compelling voice, he also turned the moments outside the auditoriums into life lessons.
I share the great pain and express my deepest condolences to the Mezini family, relatives, his beloved Gjirokastra people, the honored community of historians, as well as all generations of students educated by him!
